Langkawi Part 2: Yacht Club and Cable Car

Frankly, I've been here in Langkawi two times before; first with yayasan sabah for program anak angkat..and second with family..khairunie, just started her secondary school and khairiah maybe in primary school, .. so, this time the trip was planned without Mahsuri musoleum visit :P

*****************

Langkawi has several marinas (as per my reading). I suddenly have keen interest in yacht sightseeing. I know it was impossible for a one day trip for sailing activity; it takes a minimum of 7 hours to complete the tour package. T_T (Tips: langkawi yacht charter)

After the Mangrove tour, we went to The Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. We didn’t realize that it was actually just between the Kuah jetty and The Westin hotel. I browsed through their site and planned for lunch at the Captain’s Deck (nama comel sebab) or Charlie’s place, but cancelled as the place was just boring.

I chatted with a Californian yachter (the friendly me :P ) whom had been living for almost five years , 24 7 in his sailboat..haihh, nice life..or NO life?

the yachter doesn't bother to invite me to his sailboat. tak pa (gaya cakap Tun M)

the must scene in every hip hop vclips ..sumpah terus dengar lagu My Place- Nelly feat Jaheim kat imeem.com

pergi balik sekarang!

We then proceeded to Awana Porto Malai. At 2 pm we had lunch at the Seagull Coffee House, better place than the RLYC. Still, there weren’t much visitor at this Mediterranean-themed resort..aihh.. cuba teka..and someone told us that the Star Cruise (previously base at Awana) wasn’t working very well..hmm..

"amik gambar je keje awek nih"..ok senyummm

ala -ala lampu suluh rumah api Sir Francis Light

bangun, tidur..bangun, tidur pon tak sampai Bangi lagi

the yacht charter / sailing tour macam best..tengok itenerary dia la.. sunset cruise package, with BBQ dinner..sea salt jakuzi..ermm..ouh ya, romantic gateway..etc.. nak propose gf or bf..bulih2

" jauh perjalanan , luas pandangan..luas juga berangan~ .." obviously gambar yang di crop sebab perut macam pregnant 3 bulan

layan saja laa

akhirnya benda ni di depan mata. over excited me. ada satu tu nama dia Ocean Girl

It was almost 330pm that we rushed to Langkawi Cable Car at Gunung Mat Cincang. Rows of shop building welcomed us and its street named Jalan Dang Wangi, with KL postcode number.

The buildings made different theme, the mediterranean or ancient china and also a mini zoo. I noticed there were elephants, deers and of course the eagles tied with rope. Kes (kesian) . ouh ya .. I bought a freezer magnetic. JE

"why so serious??" - gaya Joker

Caption : the splash of golden ray

I somehow sensed that the slope was higher than the Titlis Rotair at Lucerne. The Langcar (langkawi cable car, as called) moved fast to its two stations but slightly slower when it glided down. (Tips: ticket RM15)

"abg, why CINCANG?" I knew he have forever with answers. Because of the rock formation, I looked closely and noticed the stripped-like surface very well visible.

But I browsed the internet, and the source said it was Mat Cincang who turned himself to a mountain.

ekk.. I choose the earlier

Gunung Mat Cincang Sky Bridge

To have the Sky Bridge you must make some jungle tracking with provided walkaway. But we missed the chance because we didn't have much time.

the gazebo-like first station

unutilised space over there.. sebab sana menghadap laut, yang sini boleh tengok jambatan gantung

I claim myself as forever-amateur photographer because for me nothing best like our naked eyes.
Share with me this 360 degree breathtaking view. You'll see the Sky Bridge, the Datai bay (another famous marina) and the soothing sea green shade. (Tips: abaikan suara narrator macam Upin & Ipin dalam video ni)

video

It was indeed fun weekend and we were very happy with Langkawi. We'll be back again, me hoping for the sailing please Asyik senyum jek ni..haha.. But it's good to be back home again.
