It was two years back, I guess..hmm, I always like bridal-dress-fitting, tapi taknak la yang macam ni.. the dresses were nice sebenarnya, but minus the overdone accessories. And here's mine, Err took our pictures during my wedding day, I didn't hire a wedding planner so from top to toe was my own idea, or design =)

I was cooking and watching Syahadah and as the city of Baku part, I missed the visual. But what makes the interesting narration was, it is told that the popular Arabic love story Layla and Majnun according to Azerbaijani adaptation became the Middle East's first opera and premiered in Baku on 1908, so I googled it (read : semangat! )

Among the popular place to visit is the Palace of the Shirvanshah - a memorial complex built as the sacred place for tomb of Sayyed Yahya (a sufi) and Layla and Majnun was performed in here.
Layla and Majnun ; based on the real story of Qays ibn al-Mulawwah who fell in love with Layla bint Mahdi, but was refused by Layla’s father. Qays then began wandering the surrounding desert seen reciting poetry to himself or writing in the sand with a stick - that was so very romantic ok!

There's an opening job vacancy as a lecturer, macam menarik. But hubby doesn't think it's a good idea for me working a 9-5 schedule and a student-status in a time T_T. That signs he likes me to be at home je or doing things yang tak terikat dengan ofis. He's very supportive with me and my works. I know it's funny when I say the reason of me becoming a lecturer sebab nak pakai mic bling2 atau mic balut dengan scarf hebat..haha. L.A.M.E . Takpe, one day..

I left plenty of shawls hanging in my wardrobe, some that I just hate to part with - membazir! biasalah yang tersalah beli kaler kan.. and yup I found this one plain-boring and black shawl. So I came up with the idea to alter - itu pun setelah menelek2 cara jahitan kat kedai =D

When my gama (nenek) left us, I lost in misery. In deep despair I cried so strongly. Pedihnya hati Allah saja yang tahu.. Even talked about how much I missed her made me in teary..semua orang tahu kot masa tu..kesian semua orang kena dengar benda sama hari2 =( . The least thing I did was, lay in bed and hands held high as if I can reach her..macam tu sekali!
My gama's young sister- nenek saudara la kan, maybe she'd seen me in such melancholy and lends me a book, tajuknya 'alam kubur'. Frankly, Oh my Lord I'm going to embarrass myself this time, I never bother to read buku tauhid or buku agama unless those books yang cikgu2 suruh baca sebab nak exam! I finished it and I found the pain relief. Alhamdulillah. Ingat lagi buku tu dah usang sangat, buku kesayangan nenek ni.. I wrapped it. No words can adequately express, I feel like I owe her something..more than 'thank you'.
Since that I began to read such books.
Today I just know that her husband left her forever. Al fatihah.
I'm musing my mind, about this for some time now that, .. beranikah aku untuk 'perjalanan' itu?
Anyway, it's almost 3! I'm writing this and watching solat isyak live from Madinah..selalu live dari Mekah kan..ni Oasis tayang dari Madinah best juga..translation dia macam spanish je ni. Three places yang aku sangat nak pegi adalah Mekah dan sekitarnya, Jurusalem dan Granada untuk Alhambra! haih bestnya..
Kalau cakap Palestine je mesti terbayang yang takut2 kan..No! Hotel-hotel hebat juga..senang kata, the old city with gate to primeval and timeless treasure, with modern facilities. Best! haah berangan memang best.

It's 10 minutes past 2 and I'm glued to the tv watching History channel, and I'm also on FB and now blogging..and the list goes to blog hopping pula. Don't I have better things to do, instead? - sleep!
I just wake up about 30 minutes ago, switch on tv and juicing green apples cicah garam..slurpp! Ok now, I'm watching this documentary about China's Forbidden City. Very nice documentary about China imperial palace. The architect was Ruan An.. I must jot down his name here, for me to goggle about him later.. berminat, you know I like history through architecture. hmm dia ni sida, aku tak boleh terima la why they allowed such life-custom.. I think it is such a humiliation to human, a male.
Been here before about last year (note: my very first blog entry), no doubt it is a magnificent palace complex but I never know about its profound record..hmm hebatlah.., what I can say about the palace complex is that, Forbidden City built as a bequest from one dynasty to another, or less literally, from ancient time to modern China. No wonder this place become a must visit in Beijing. And I highly recommend it! The mega construction is scheduled to finish on 2010..teringin nak pegi lagi..Kalaula duit bukan masalah kan =(
Anyway, the construction concept was similar to Pyramid or Taj Mahal (tak berapa yakin about pyramid, I haven't read deeply about it yet but I believe so) But as Taj Mahal, ianya dibina di titik terdekat dengan syurga..supaya those emperors hmm..duduk dekat dengan tuhan mereka..kot..toing!
But, it's good for us to know..just count it as a knowledge ya.. saya suka sejarah! Nak pegi semua tempat! ok Good nite
p/s I've changed my mind about Taylor Swift*. Dah tersuka sebab terpaksa dengar her tracks je kat rumah ni - hubby keeps repeating the same song ..pasrah. I think she looks good in brunette dan rambut kami sama
