pregnancy sandal

Last Sunday was reserved to get done a mission; pregnancy footwear. After much complaints of my back pain, he suggested me to have a flat sandal (sacrificing the cute ones), comfortable, good arch support, wider and everything best for my walking.

I know everyone would love to suggest Clarks for its better design but I had eliminated the brand – not meeting my target (comfortable level)

Unfashionable!

amik masa sejam di spot ni saja..

the finalist ..but very confusing between these two

The white sandal is like grandma's, I wish they could be more creative in designing shoe.. BUT the level of comfort is beyond my target.. a feeling of bounce every step on it. So I called it the-walking-on-a-cloud shoe. The other one is comparable and lighter plus it has Gzero technology, for whatever that means la kan. I called it the walking-on-air shoe. Better design, but no bounce feeling.

Goodness, it was so difficult to find the one! It must be easier done if they have pink. Kesian hubby tunggu lama. Perempuan begini la.

Well, at last he made the picking for me - the walking-on-air shoe. Ok at least I can wear it to Santorini, don’t you think it looks Grecian? Haha. Selesa gila nak nangis..yay, I could walk forever. Thanks hubby.

Atas permintaan, gambar perut. Barely visible lagi, 15 weeks now.

But my pimples? Even MAC can't hide it. Or that I'm lack of skills.

hujan emas di negeri sendiri

Mengapa kita selalu tergila-gila nak pergi tempat lain? Mungkin bukan semua orang,..tapi kebanyakkannya sangat mahu! bergelojak la orang kata.

ok lame nya questions..obviously banyak!

Bangunan2 oldskool semua sebenarnya menarik. Itulah yang memanggil pelancong datang. Yelah senibina kita berbeza tapi semuanya ada tarikan sendiri, bukan? (bosannya ayat!)

Mungkin keadaan berbeza..tapi keindahan tetap tertanding.

Itulah siapa suruh buang sampah merata2?!!

(p/s jangan tengok tapak kasut)

Lepas tu yang tak tahan..kalau dengar pasal naik train or tukar2 train kat oversea ni, rasa macam cool semacam..haha (applicable to me la kot!)

Teringin pula nak try. Kesimpulannya.

My baby takes control

Previously, doctor has scanned an unwanted object, called cyst in Mommy’s tummy. Mommy was very anxious. Mommy, I’m not comfortable for unnecessary thing to appear here in my crib! So off she went for a follow up check to ensure about it. Mommy has waited for 3 hours to meet the GP. Luckily aunt Maisun called to accompany her. I heard that Mommy can’t wait to have a baby as big as bro Muizz =D

When it was Mommy’s turn to meet the GP, they have talked for some time before the scan process. This is my favorite part; it’s time for Mommy to meet me! I can feel it when the doctor poked Mommy’s stomach gently so I started rotating. I was so excited and wanted to show Mommy everything that I have. Mommy, see my ass! And speaking about the cyst, it was somehow gone! just like that..alhamdulillah.

I’m now 14 weeks young and about 7-8 cm long. My eyebrows are beginning to grow and hair on top of my head is sprouting! Mommy thinks that I look like her =)

Well, I want to take a little nap now. In case you’re wondering what Mommy is doing..

Good luck Mommy!

weekend attempt ; cupcakes

I wasn't sure if we own an oven until it was very recently that hubby found one from our wedding gifts collection. So we went to the nearby bakery store to find all the ingredients needed for baking cupcakes. It's been awhile since my last homemade treats. Together with my sister, it was lots of fun to indulge in chocolate.

naahh choc cupcakes kami. biar buruk rupa, asal sedap rasa!

English tea time!

additional info : How English Afternoon Tea Began?

At first, the British really only had two daily meals-breakfast and dinner. Dinner was the heaviest meal of the day, and usually served in the afternoon. The custom of eating a regular “tea” began during the 1700’s, as people began serving dinner later and later in the evening.

People started serving a light lunch in the early afternoon to fill the gap between breakfast and dinner, but this still left approximately 6 hours between meals with no refreshment.

For the aristocracy, or at least for the Duchess Anna Maria of Bedford, 6 hours between meals was simply too long. She began to request a cup of tea and light snacks to be served around 5 pm, and then began to invite guests to join her.

i want more class

Me and Aida took a French class when we were at secondary school. We did it for almost 3 years and I should be fluent to converse in French. I got C, and she got an A for the final test. . I don't know, perhaps I can blame the handsome French guy who interviewed me for the oral test. He made me speechless. haha
Now, where could I find a good French class? Anyone please leave comment.

everything i own

It was friday, and I don't have class on friday. Since I'm not used to..urm not going to class (haha) rasa bosan. I knew my sister has wanted to watch Bandslam for as long as I can remember.
So there we were lining up for the ticket, it was so frustrated (at first) that they won't let you in (for a movie) if less than 4 tickets purchased. But we refused to give up. So we waited until it was already about the time for the movie to start and..ok fine, beli jak la 4 tiket! Sangat2 mahu ok..
Luckily, and eventually they let us in..cheh saja menguji kesabaran. So end up, only the TWO of us in the room bole? wooo.. Here's the song from the movie, very nice!..they rock this song like Rhythms del mundo's kind of song.

And.. I include here the original version by Ken Boothe 'Anything I Own' (1974) Sweetttttt ^_^ Why the oldies will always too good? yes he sang it as anything, not everything

Is there someone you know

You're loving them so

But taking them all for granted?

You may lose them one day

Someone takes them away

And they don't hear

The words you long to say

Da Vinci the Genius exhibition

We went to Pusat Sains Negara, Bukit Kiara (the third time for me!) for the Da Vinci the Genius exhibition - a showcase of Leonardo's genius as a painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, geologist, writer..u name it!

His notebooks included many drawings showing the mechanical principles underpinning human movement.

Leonardo was the first to look at the science of flight. This is the flywheel.

The clock mechanism, has been made especially for this exhibition by a 90 years old artisan in Vinci, Tuscany, the home of Leornardo da Vinci

Stanza degli Specchi, the mirrors room. Leonardo noted that, if a person stood inside, he "will be able to see every part of himself endless time"

the ideal place for dressing room =)

... Mona Lisa

You can simply Google for what lies beneath Mona Lisa. Tapi sekali pun kita ke the Louvre, tak mungkin kita dapat melihat di sebalik potret ni..so, this is very exclusive, I must say.

1 - You can see that the board has split, and the two butterfly clip were used to repair it.
2- the wording 'Au garde des Tableux a Versailles .." (" to the painting guardian at Versailles") an indication from when the painting was moved from the castle of Fontainebleau to castle of Versailles.
3- the wording Jaconde which is the French name for Mona Lisa
4- the stamp of the Musee Royal with number 316 - the position of Mona Lisa in the royal museum collection.

Don't you think I just share you some interesting reasons of visiting the Louvre? (talk to myself)

And of course the other collection of his paintings. I strongly believe Leonardo was such a romantic man because almost of his masterpieces, he gave see-through veil for a lady.

We spent 1 1/2 hours in there. Da Vinci the Genius exhibition is held until 17th January at Pusat Sains Negara, Bukit Kiara. Open daily including sunday and public holiday. Ticket is RM25/adult

isu penggunaan kalimah Allah

The graffiti taken on my way from Paris to Lucerne.

HALLA GIVE ME DOLLAS

Previously, I'm not that interest to write about the current issue; use the word 'Allah' (swt)for non muslim IN Malaysia. Because the topic has already lead to several attacks and public sensitivity.

Anyway, for an introduction, Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God". Yes we had already knowledge it. In Malaysia (and Indonesia), the translating word refer to God as Allah in Bahasa first made by Francis Xavier in 16th century. Nothing new, isn't? But why the issue suddenly boom? Because it was published publicly.

I know that I'm not good in commenting but at least I speak my heart. Let's make it easier, just by looking on our own culture perspective. Do you think the use of word 'Allah' by non muslim is in our local culture? I don't think so. Maybe but not publicly. We are not used to it, I mean it never exist in our culture. Some place yes, but not at the major. So just don't do it. Nobody said it is easy to change what we are used to. Culture adaptation wont be that easy.

Ok aku bagi perumpamaan culture adaptation paling senang la. Kau cuba tindik hidung kau, dan balik jumpa orang tua kat kampung. Kompem kena tengking. Tapi cuba pegi India, takda sepa pun hairan. Because it is in their culture. Tindik2 bukan adat kita kan.

I hope you'll understand what I'm trying to say. Tidak payah la gaduh2 ..let's have mutual understanding. And most important, live harmony.

random: Tiba2 teringat Dr.Viviane, sebab pernah curi2 baca dia punya kitab. hehe pernah dia kejutkan sembahyang subuh. I miss you, old friend!

haha. Ok bukan nak fokus cerita beautiful name. But the different background of my previous study caused me 2 pre requisite papers, sending me to undergrads classes. I'm so isolated in their class =( Look at the bright side, at least more attention to the lecture.
Anyway, for my intercultural communication class, we are assigned to do a real paper..real like to present it to the public. Yes, I'm talking about conference. There will be an international conference at South China Uni, Guangzhou China somewhere in June. Sape2 punya paper yang lepas pegi mestila yang terbaik kan? Sapa taknak jadi yang terbaik? tapi taknak la pegi China! And how am I supposed to walk to China with my big belly? deep down, teringin la juga nak angkat CV.
