We went to Pusat Sains Negara, Bukit Kiara (the third time for me!) for the Da Vinci the Genius exhibition - a showcase of Leonardo's genius as a painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, geologist, writer..u name it!
His notebooks included many drawings showing the mechanical principles underpinning human movement.
Leonardo was the first to look at the science of flight. This is the flywheel.
The clock mechanism, has been made especially for this exhibition by a 90 years old artisan in Vinci, Tuscany, the home of Leornardo da Vinci
Stanza degli Specchi, the mirrors room. Leonardo noted that, if a person stood inside, he "will be able to see every part of himself endless time"
... Mona Lisa
You can simply Google for what lies beneath Mona Lisa. Tapi sekali pun kita ke the Louvre, tak mungkin kita dapat melihat di sebalik potret ni..so, this is very exclusive, I must say.
1 - You can see that the board has split, and the two butterfly clip were used to repair it.
2- the wording 'Au garde des Tableux a Versailles .." (" to the painting guardian at Versailles") an indication from when the painting was moved from the castle of Fontainebleau to castle of Versailles.
3- the wording Jaconde which is the French name for Mona Lisa
4- the stamp of the Musee Royal with number 316 - the position of Mona Lisa in the royal museum collection.
Don't you think I just share you some interesting reasons of visiting the Louvre? (talk to myself)
And of course the other collection of his paintings. I strongly believe Leonardo was such a romantic man because almost of his masterpieces, he gave see-through veil for a lady.
