Fort Cornwallis and Penang

When he has finished his work, I was more than excited. It's been a long time since the last visit to Penang. khairunie and khairiah were just a little back then. I don’t think the girls still remember those old times.

what was I thinking when I decided to wear black shirt in Penang? In this bright sunshine? Ouh ya, did I say that we have our luncheon at Nasi Kandar Line Clear? macam Daud keadaan dia..ntah la biasa2 saja.

It was a surprise that Fort Cornwallis actually just a few km from our hotel. Situated next to Port Sweetenham..(yes,it must be very stunning view of sunset from here) Fort Cornwallis was actually administration workplace rather than any battle mark when it was designed with cannons to protect the harbour from possible attacks. Because I saw there were chambers probably the jail down there with Chapel. Chapel was claimed as the first church built in Penang.

The thing I like about Georgetown is the buildings they have and how they appreciate the heritage rails. Nevertheless, I have across local that even didn't know when I ask for direction. I can't blame them because me also failed to come up with perfect answer when people ask me about my place. Actually the tourist know better!

Anyway, this is one prove that history claimed to change people and their lives. History helped us in a way they have had be a magnet to visitors and later brings a good deal for the community.

And finally, Batu Feringgi. I was a bit disappointed because the local may not very interested to live the beach other than the club and restaurant. Because I look forward to have hawker stalls along the beach. But they dont.

But they do have extreme sport games!

my favourite couple

It was a sentimental touch to watch Bond by himself at the bar with his Vesper-Martini (before Mathis came to accompany), the drink take him back to the old days with Vesper. I always love this couple.

But I don’t really get when Bond said to M, “you’re right about Vesper”. And he shouldn’t throw the necklace away. Sedih! Harus la emo tengok movie.

You must watch Casino Royale before Quantum of Solace..and you'll get emotional for this couple..like I do.

Anyway, if you still remember Danial Craig beside Jolie ..hehe Tomb Rider. At the cave scene, (bond and Camille) I somehow imagine that suddenly there was Lara jumped headed for him, with her so-Lara approach “Hello Bond!”

..and the moment I wake up, I’m in different place (minus the long haul flight and my pink trench coat).

He is attending some work here in Penang (and what’s the purpose of resigning than not following your spouse to cool places?) Well, we went to Persiaran Gurney last night. Please note that ‘Penang takde signboard ok’. We probably will have the evening at Fort Cornwallis if it wasn’t the hair dryer.., but maybe I’ll save the Fort Cornwallis for tomorrow and I don’t really like sunset anyway.

Better not to expect much on Gurney Drive because the seashore itself wasn’t very impressive, maybe it is the raining season again for northern coast. It’s been a while since the last vacation, so we had a long walk along the seafront with food places like seafood / mamak nasi kandar / western / cottage concept.. and people gathered everywhere, lights.. ok la..

And we stopped at this seafood restaurant.. banyak gilee ikan dan sedara mereka..

I know it worth a risk of bad injury in red light running, but sometimes the rebellious part pushes me to do it.

The behavior made me realized that it actually portray pieces of me. I’m not someone who can easily accept the reality behind my acceptation. I must put a highest hope on this. HOPE create a space of RELIEVE and time told me that FAITH is something beyond oneself. Miracle, I always longs you to hear this. I’m not gone give up of this. Let others, but not me. I'm standing still. I know it happened, but it will happen to be fine.

..in different state of affair, I've done something that doesn't feel right . I know long time the shadow will chase me, and I couldn’t do anything. When shopping, I habitually keep the label tag for their web address. And ever since I joined Bijou Bazaar, I’ve become captivated by fashion website. This site listed even more fashion online. I’m not expert in fashion finding, so online shopping is something practical because these girls are selling well selected fashion clothes. So much time, so convenient.. and so Panda eyes me now..haha
