the wind

We were in the car heading somewhere, not in hurry. As we stopped at a red light, I asked hubby something like, don’t you think wind is a magical? Yeah, I just like seeing around and keeps wondering like this.. We can’t see the air, but we feel the wind.. we know it is there ..the leaves wiggling on the trees, fall off and flutter the ground, and the wind blow again where it may, but it is invisible. Enchanteur!

When hubby said the wind is like a messenger, I began acting like blowing with pouty lips ..daa..I admired what he has taught me; he said that the wind gave us space to pondering over the signs of Allah. We have always opportunity to enjoy the wind, playing with the blustery weather and have fun. Something exist in understanding, Allah SWT has commanded us to remember him always. The wind and the rain is the little messenger to remind us of His divine.

But the howled wind, thunder and the strikes are just as an early warning signs. I don’t have the expertise in elaborate through the solid perspective, but maybe I can share it with my old purchased book, new recent reading =) struggling to catch his bookmarked page. kata gaya, aku nak beli sekarang! kata hati, berangan dulu.. I stopped at this one stall, selling hand phone across brands, the apek smiled and started to consider me as his potential buyer..

Later I drove to KL for some work, it was already 2:30 pm and it was late..but I didn't stumble on traffic jam =) - the friday crazy traffic jam.

I've posted about the Traditional Weapon Exhibition, so today was my second time..they have like shade canopies at the outdoor. I was searching for a book, (found the info at .com) Puteri 101 Dunia Melayu memang best, complete with pictures or illustrations but so pricey! RM250..sed

I can't reveal what the meeting was about, because its too early and I'm lack of point to share..Nevermind, I will tell you once it confirmed. I'm full of hope.

Very long time ago, I was standing in front of the wall, reading through the posted notes. It was probably for the fifth times, or more than dozen times. I was assigned for a small company in ayer keroh, for practical (industrial training) during my degree. Yin Huay and I (ouh where are you??) We didn’t got allowance for the job (maybe some) ; it was for the sake of getting A++ for the semester. The company asked for an outstation to their client’s place which was a college at alor gajah. I remember those time very clearly, woke up early in the morning..drove all the way to alor gajah, overnight at their hostel..and back again at Wednesday..that was my routine for couple of months. (it was student time, and the budget was very tight!) The job wasn’t that simple tho. There was a time I thought I’d finished the task when they (the client) raised for another terms. I felt sick, I cried. Ouh ya, I wasn’t alone at the hostel.. I was accompanied by a colleague.

Back to the notes on the wall, it took me so long to comprehend what I’d read. Maybe the time assigned for me to complete the task (at the college) was proportional for my brain to absorb and decoded the notes. It was just a simple tazkirah, but it meant a lot to me. If I never been there, and never came cross the notes, I could drop the self-blame for something I thought I was right. I could gone for a wrong way.

Some time ago,(and still) I’ve always yearned something so much. No matter how hard I tried ( I mean, I gave the best in me) it just didn’t work. I never really have been there. But how would I know that it wasn’t my true destiny to do that very thing?

… again, how could I have a strong belief to say YES for something I wasn’t very sure? I soon learned, of everything I did it was because what He granted me to do. A guardian? I don’t know. But He has created the best for me. Maybe it took poles apart for me to achieve my desire. It would be the same eventual place, I know..but through different path. That’s nice.

the notes, the spectacles and my nervous… I have meeting with National Museum tomorrow, hence I need to prepare myself. Ok I eat the Beryl’s but I didn’t switch on the Astro :D

KL Bird Park

my husband, sometimes he is so funny..by asking me "ada blog baru?" or "dah update?" =) macam tak bole sembang panjang kat rumah..ok, here is our last visit to KL Bird Park..

First of all, KL Bird Park... it was awesome! the place was such huge covered with net, so you feel less hot, but a serene walking enjoying the green and friendly birds..here are the proofs

.. it was another ordinary weekend, as usual me, I browsed places to hang out - skema, saya sedar T_T. I found the next interest from TripAdvisor. After several convincing comments, and some said Bill Clinton was here..wah, I decided for KL Bird Park..oh ya, maybe it was also because I've read about it at my friend, mommyadam's blog tapi dia pegi bawa adam jalan2..erkk..

KL Bird Park is situated somewhere at taman tasik Perdana.. oh the place simply offers activities, and yes I like this place..ok, upon reaching the Bird Park, you'll see the Hornbill Restaurant on your left and few steps will give you the main entry .. (tips: RM15 ticket. Worth it!)

The Love Birds greeted us as we entered the main gate.. they were so lovely, I wondered ko nih tak kenyang2 ke? orang sua tangan saja mematuk2. Or, it was their pleasure welcoming visitors =)

I went out to had lunch with my girlfriends today, on the way back I heard Stars by Simply Red .. aih ignore the lines, ok. I just love this song, reminds me of my past time.. so melodious. Time can do sooo much. I want to be like everybody else. But every so often I’m afraid if the time won’t let me. And he whom I share all my dreams, taught me kita merancang, Tuhan yang menentukan…

My gorgeous healthy roses (but I noticed the older leaves turn yellow, alaaa..) blooming and grow a new bush. I urge myself to hold on the plan to buy more pots of flower, psstt..Daisies. Daisy Duke! Jessica Simpson look absolutely beautiful, I don’t care about the weight issue!

Kellies Castle

There’s a chance that my writing will get boring at some point/or post, like what I did last night. I just got back from KL and now I’m planning to continue my work, just a random research and typing but I just can’t get any ideas out of my head. Seriously the sun is extremely hot. I feel myself becoming sleepy now..blahh~ nanti sambung (draft autosaved :D )

That was unattractive introduction, huh..but let count them in. hey, I browsed my pictures from last Cameron visit, and I forgot to update about Kellies Castle.. I can’t recall when I learned about the old castle but it sounds like calling me. Hubby has just to agree, how well he know me; I am fascinated by things to do with old legacy and easily want to experience it..hehehe. I wish I am a travelogue journalist..

It was about 20minutes ride from Ipoh, located at Batu Gajah. This is actually unfinished, abandoned mansion built by Wiiliam Kellie Smith. Kellas is a little town in Scotland, correct me if I’m wrong. This man was from Scotland and Kinta Kellas- that suddenly pop in my mind. Yes, he was the previous owner of Kinta Kellas Estate and the Kinta Kellas Tin Dredging Company. Why were always sudden men (I mean foreign venture) made fortune from our land? gimme some~

The Kellas House located just in front the mansion. Mr Smith and her wife Agnes lived in this house before the mansion project started. The house also has its standard, made from Italian marble. I got fooled by asking 'wah cat jenama apa nih..cantik lagi pun kuning dia'.. The building had its new shield in 2000 by the authority, so obviously you need to pay ticket for entry; RM4

I saw some Moorish style or Indian architecture (yang macam kubah2). Look at the apricot block (the one orangy) and most of all the malaya first lift bucket which wasn't turn up to as planned, because mr. Smith died in Lisbon, Portugal on the way to collect the lift.

It took us almost an hour to finish our discovery, but frankly you can make it in 15 minutes. I was wondering..it was indeed an abandoned castle because the people ain't put much interest to 'rebuild' the castle and make it more attractive..It has the story, with strong characters and amazing evidence but it was just left behind.
