KT..recently : part 1

We just got back from Kuala Terengganu. Stayed in the tallest building in Terengganu, just beside the waterfront. Felda Residence is very recommended to anyone. Serba serbinya memuaskan =)

It was my 2nd or 3rd visit to Terengganu, but of course the first time for Aariz. We just chilled out around the town. Mana lagi kalau bukan Taman Tamadun Islam. After almost 3 years from our last visit, hmm not what we were expecting.

So I've blogged about TTI before, dah letak pun semua gambar monumen/replicas. But that was before Aariz, yang ni lagi best haha.. Ok lah here are pictures.

this is the Taj Mahal replica, aged 50 years. 

Taj Mahal, the awestuck structure, history, wonder, epitome, yes you name it, been always a favorite story. Saya minat betul semua dokumentari pasal Taj Mahal. Did you know that Shah Jahan wanted to build the black Taj Mahal? Yes the legend has it. Imagine lah nak ulang balik 20,000 workmen for 17 years of construction! 

But..but.. history is a real treasure. Now, Taj Mahal attracts between 2 million and 4 million visitors annually (source wiki ) Berapa banyak dah kutipan di situ? 

Kalau cerita pasal Taj Mahal, memang tak habis. Back to reality..sebenarnya kat theme park je. har har har

Hmm ..why lah we don't have tour operator to Jurusalem? Memang teringin sangat2 nak pegi =) Thanks to TTI ni, feeling2 la sikit. And they made it real this time... tengok ni, inside the replica.

I'm between reading and writing my thesis that I found this wonderful diary from the 17th century. Though he never intended for his journal to be read by anyone other than himself, a website is republishing his journal in daily entries matched by day and month for the next 10 years.

For anyone who appreciate the past, let's follow the life of Samuel Pepys, who lived in late 17th century London, England.

Do you ever stand in front of your wardrobe and say, "takda baju nak pakai"? haha well, I mean, can we ever have enough clothes? Let alone shawls and scarves. Sometimes tu pakai sekali sahaja. Luckily I have sisters that I could hadiah some 2 or 3 pieces. Biasalah adik beradik kongsi baju =)

So, I have a small business I just started. It all began when I realize (realize la sangat) 'aku ni asik perabis duit beli tudung je, cuba jual pula'. The beauty of home business is you can always be with your baby while working. And I bring Aariz whenever I may go.

In 2 months of its operation, I never thought it could grows this fast. If you know how my husband is, rajin dan semangat is his middle name. So kenalah follow the leader.. My so called small business ni pun kenalah buat sungguh2.

Apehal memang bestla kan shopping tudung setiap minggu..hihi

That was my Saturday. Cari tudung.

Well, and some activities mark our normal Sunday. And I love Sunday the most. Aariz pun relax2 join we all jalan2.

what Sir George Bernard said about the Prophet Muhammad

Saya melihat nabi Muhammad sebagai seseorang yang memiliki peribadi agung dan tidak sama sekali anti-Isa. Beliau wajar dipanggil penyelamat kemanusiaan.

Saya yakin apabila ada orang seperti nabi Muhammad memegang kuasa tunggal dalam dunia moden hari ini, beliau pasti berjaya mengatasi segala masalah sehingga dunia ini menjadi aman dan bahagia. Inilah sebenarnya yang dunia perlukan. Saya meramalkan agama yang dibawa oleh nabi Muhammad bakal diterima di Eropah pada masa hadapan. Sesungguhnya, ia sudah pun mula diterima hari ini.

nabi Muhammad adalah manusia agung yang pernah lahir ke dunia. Beliau membawa satu agama, mendirikan sebuah bangsa, meletakkan dasar-dasar moral,memulakan banyak pergerakan pembaharuan sosial dan politik, mendirikan sebuah masyarakat yang kuat dan dinamik bagi melaksanakan dan mewakili ajarannya. Beliau turut merevolusikan fikiran dan perilaku manusia.

Beliau adalah nabi Muhammad yang dilahirkan di Semennjung Arab pada tahun 570 Masihi dan mula menyebakan agama kebenaran pada usia 40 tahun. Beliau wafat pada usia 63 tahun. Sepanjang 23 tahun beliau menjadi nabi, nabi Muhammad menubah jazirah Arab daripada budaya paganisme dan penyembah makhluk menjadi peyembah Tuhan yang maha esa. Beliau mengubah suku-suku yang suka berperang menjadi bangsa yang bersatu, mengubah kaum pembuk dan dan pengacau menjadi kaum pemikir dan penyabar. Beliau mengubah kaum yang tidak mempunyai undang-undang dan anarki menjadi kaum yang teratur. Beliau mengubah kerosakan kepada keagungan moral. Sejarah manusia tidak pernahmengenal transformasi sebuah masyarakat ataupun tempat sedahsyat ini dan bayangkan ia terjadi dalam waktu hanya kira-kira lebih sedikit daripada dua dekad."

Oh babies are so beautiful when they're sleeping, kan? Oh Aariz you're so beautiful, sometimes I forget that you're a boy =) Hmm.. so when everyone is already in their dreamland, I don't feel like hitting the sack just yet.

In spite of me who hate numbers, my husband likes to complete Sudoko, even more when the puzzle is hard. He collects Sudoku from everywhere, like from newspaper the Classified section. I didn't notice that there's a horoscope section on the same page until he read my starscope today;

'Your mind is still on distant places. PARIS and ROME look good at this time of year. They might be a little chilly but they will be interesting.'

Paris? Little chilly? Wow macam tau2 je. LOL . What does that mean? Should I trust starscope this time? I can't wait grrr.. Ok all these horoscope reading, benda2 yang best terimalah. Sometimes malas nak layan yang ntahapa2.

Sofia

I bought my first computer in 2000, funded by ayah la harus, during degree years. Those days having a personal computer was good enough, let alone a laptop. Black or white, just so you know.

So, I had my monitor sprayed in Pink! haha..rajin ok. Now almost every computer developer has pink laptops for sale. Gone were the days for creative endeavor =D =D  Like seriously when you're a color conscious, like me.

Hubby just bought me my very first laptop. It is 10inch laptop with pink lattice design. I love it!

Oh Sofia isn't her name. Sofia the capital city of Bulgaria is just another place I'd like to go.

Aariz's solid food progress

I've had a vision that someday my son will read this blog. So that he knows his development week by week. But I noticed that I'm not updating my blog regularly, like it used to be =(

Anyway, Aariz just a big eater! hehe. I try to time his meals; morning at 10, lunch at 2pm, snack time at 4ish pm and dinner at 8pm. Yes, believe me! Aariz needs special attention at mealtime, biasa la. But he loves his food, I guess he has master the art of eating. 

As of now, Aariz had rice, banana, broccoli, sweet potato. I still, of cause, mix them with breast milk.  And I followed the 4-days rule. Alhamdulillah setakat ni takda masalah. Tomorrow I'm going to feed him avocado pula. 

 Hello Aariz, this is you foodstuff =) 

The yellow Tupperware was given by my mother.

There was a night Aariz waking up crying, selalunya buat bunyi je dapat susu terus diam, but this time he wanted to play! tiba2. And gave me the sweetest smile pula tu. Aduhai la Aariz, rindu la tu =) 

Aariz now can make sounds like 'da-da' and 'la-la'. And I repeat that sounds, and he responds back or repeat his words whenever he's in the mood.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs

I’m supposed to resume my writing but the next minute I found myself hopping online shop.

Self-actualization is the end stage in the hierarchy of human needs. If everyone could achieved their self-actualization, who cares about new handbags or shoes?

The only person that really came to the end of hierarchy of needs game was ; Mahatma Gandhi.

As my lecturer has told us.

Aariz's first solid food at 6 months

Aariz is my big boy.. He's 6 months now. Had his first solid food on last week. I try my best to bf him and alhamdulillah rezeki Allah ta'ala bagi, I don't have trouble keeping up with his needs, bear in mind that nursing is supply and demand process =)

Aariz has been all breast milk diet (no formula, no air kosong) for the past 6 months. Because solid food should be introduce slowly, I give him rice cereal mixed with breast milk so that it taste familiar =) I made it very thin texture. Slow2 la Aariz ya..

Aariz is a sociable baby. He enjoy companionship especially budak2 comel just like him. Of course we, mothers, love baby-meet-baby event.

And Aariz become talkative in public. If only we know what babies are saying.

He has improved his grasping skill, from left to right hand. He can roll over any direction, or make circle..Aariz kat sini, eh..tiba2 dah kat sana. He can stand up and sit with support too.

Most of the time, Aariz starts to make sounds or tears when I'm away from his sight. Must be separation anxiety. Manja.
