A Blessing For Mankind

I came across this book by chance; The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History by Michael H. Hart. For this coming Maulidur Rasul, this is something I want to share with you.

I believe it wasn’t much to our amazement, (except those who wants to surprise) the author himself decided to choose Nabi Muhammad SAW as the first person to the fact that he (SAW) was the truth triumphant and unbeaten in both the religious and political realms. He also writes that Nabi Muhammad's (SAW) role in the development of Islam is far more influential than any other.

Rank 1 Muhammad (570–632) Influence : The central human figure of Islam, regarded by Muslims as the messenger and last prophet of God. Also active as a diplomat, merchant, philosopher, orator, legislator, reformer, and military leader.

habis ke nih? I doubt. But me, rather eat than shop!

I started the day a bit late. I was kinda feeling lazy and just wanna stay home. Idle. Last night I thought I would have 48 hours a day (because my earlier plan was going out to few places in KL to settle some work) konon. But when I woke up this morning, everything seemed to vanish, except this one..haha, sometimes it is good to break the rules..at least, my intuition has saved me from from KL friday pesta traffic ..wow, good name!

As planned, I met fiza at Alamanda for lunch. When we were student, I had often accompanied her to pet clinic. She's so in love with cats. Today, I ushered her to few shops, intended for her special ring. I'm more than glad juga. Adakah menunjukkan aku selalu interframe??

It was thrilled. Mind you, it ain't easy job when we've stumbled across few striking jewels with colorful gemstones and indeed, we were easily carried away.

ok..the colorful was my interest, and I took pictures of her KIV ring designs list. So she won't get pening.

I've emailed her the pictures, I think she needs to survey before purchase..But me, I always made so many survey but in time I totally forget about it. LOL. selamat kocek ku

I was listening to LP’s track In Between, to what was Shinoda trying to explain, and maybe he sang to calm those who had been arguing..he sang very cute to me, with his pleasant voice. cheh..suke hati..dengar je lirik.. How true the prediction turned out! 5 minutes later, the traffic suddenly slowed down with no visible reason to speed up again. Road block kee?? Arghh. Location: Bdr Tasik Selatan. I saw two or three cars were busy arguing with police men to let them go.

…and I, ouh shit! My road tax has expired last month and the sticker proudly bonds very well with the glass..still!! I can't afford for any summons this time tauuu..I slowed way down and borrowed the time for excuses plan before the police get right in front of my nose. What did I do? My very bright smile featuring a gracious hand wave saved my day! The police didn’t even made a glimpse to my road tax. Hehe. Senyum itu sedekah. Zura anak polis, best la ko mesti tak takut polis T_T

So I continued my journey to Pusat Bandaraya (sign biru), met Fizah at Jln Tar. After some work, we went to this pusat tudung terkemuka KL..very much occupied with all the tudungs..we spent almost 2 hours kot. Meriah, colorful, choices and affordable..penat, muka merah

I bought shawls, tudung bawal, tudung kecik petak..for me and my sister, also fizaroosli’s mum ..pesanan kawan. ko mesti mention kat mak ko tau, aku yang beli sebab comel english style gitu.

My friend, Zura..(we’ve been close since MMU alpha year, when we exchanged questions about where to buy phone case) she’s so into football, and knows so much about football herself..burnt the midnight oil watching live football match.. ouh, I wouldn’t trade my sleep with anything else in the world.

I’m sold! To last night game..you see, when you’re living with a man, football become something like your E! channel ( I hate it when they included Eva Longoria in the list of celebrity worst without make up, don’t they know that the picture was taken from DH year 5??) To the football, I never yelled at top of my lung (tipu. except for the earlier daydreaming) , nervous at the same time ..chehh..beriya2 betul tengok match semalam. Best la Bola.. OMG..what did I say??? And I captured some pictures…of course hubby was contented and shore me up some more..ada kawan tengok bola..haha..except for the pillow which I insisted him to use it as to lowered his GOL~! – volume..haih..

I like them as a team, no specific player.. but I waited Van der Sar last night.. this is the picture..gila kan..hih! Van der Sar and the 2nd or 3rd goalkeeper Foster.

Speaking of over excited (okk sendiri cakap kot) I purposely reorganize my wardrobe and found this trenchy I bought in Beijing. Plus, I’m staring at a pair of boot now. Trench and boot..sounds like flying oversea?? hehe..Now seems everyone talking about going oversea, and my dear bestie juga..aku hanya membantu dia berangan menuju kejayaan.. =P Can’t wait! No! the promises

I’ve always encountered some verses from Ar-Rum, upon reading or watching the media and that gave me some thought, bugged me to write. Frankly, until the last verse, I never had a doubt to its content and my reading satiate my curiosity. You see.. I’m in love with googling, knowing a little about things will makes us more knowledgeable. Knowledge is praised! :P and every verse from Al-Quran are hidden treasure, I hope someday I could finish with its translation.. a feelings of regret for failing the classes..adik-adik, janganlah ponteng2 kelas agama.

Al-Quran is the word of Allah and for only Him knows all things.

His promise

30. Surah Ar-Rum (Rome)

1. Alif-Lam-Mim Allah (Alone) knows their meanings

2. The Romans have been defeated.

3. In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious.

4. Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians)

The verse 4; Only He knows about the eventual of Roman-Persian conflict and that reflect or coincided with the battle of Badr ( Perang Badar, ingat tak?) 313 men from Muslim army won the battle against thousand of Quraish army.


Now lets get back to the verse 3, In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious.

Victorious Palestine! He fails not to His promises. ( Obama has just announcede the transformation of American army from Iraq, now we need to know Gaza status.. yes, we know its between Israel, but hey!..at least what he can do!)

Thereafter, Athens and Greece became part of the Islamic world of the Ottoman and new mosque sprang up around the Agora of Athens; Tzisdarakis Mosque in Monastiraki Squre (I need to write it down here, eventho I haven’t made a googling about the mosque. Later I will, nodding a promise)

Acropolis in Athens, acropolis mean the city of edge, principally for defense purpose..and there were many other acropolises, as per the Internet. But this is the Acropolis without prerequisite.

Last but not least,.. this is the verse about prayers time.

Verse 17. So glorify Allah [above all that (evil) they associate with Him (O believers)], when you come up to the evening [i.e. offer the (Maghrib) sunset and ('Isha') night prayers], and when you enter the morning [i.e offer the (Fajr) morning prayer].


Verse 18. And His is all the praises and thanks in the heavens and the earth, and (glorify Him) in the afternoon (i.e. offer 'Asr prayer) and when you come up to the time, when the day begins to decline (i.e offer Zuhr prayer).

Ibn 'Abbas said: These are the five compulsory congregational prayers mentioned in the Qur'an

..Lucky to be born a Muslim. And if all people despite the consequences of color and religion unite under the beauty of history and one’s culture, it could made salvation not to destroy.

I’m always amazed by how easy people can put words together, it could be simple but turns to something valuable and absolutely poetry. This is one of my favorite oldies songs (90's ) and reminds me of my aunt. I learned to like such mellow from her =)

the wind

We were in the car heading somewhere, not in hurry. As we stopped at a red light, I asked hubby something like, don’t you think wind is a magical? Yeah, I just like seeing around and keeps wondering like this.. We can’t see the air, but we feel the wind.. we know it is there ..the leaves wiggling on the trees, fall off and flutter the ground, and the wind blow again where it may, but it is invisible. Enchanteur!

When hubby said the wind is like a messenger, I began acting like blowing with pouty lips ..daa..I admired what he has taught me; he said that the wind gave us space to pondering over the signs of Allah. We have always opportunity to enjoy the wind, playing with the blustery weather and have fun. Something exist in understanding, Allah SWT has commanded us to remember him always. The wind and the rain is the little messenger to remind us of His divine.

But the howled wind, thunder and the strikes are just as an early warning signs. I don’t have the expertise in elaborate through the solid perspective, but maybe I can share it with my old purchased book, new recent reading =) struggling to catch his bookmarked page. Dengki nanti borak tak boleh lawan!
