Paris : inside The Louvre musee

I once made a promise to myself that, I'll come and visit the Louvre the next time I'm in Paris. We were in Paris in 2007 for hubby's road conference (and our honeymoon), I told someone (from the delegates) that I felt sad of leaving Paris without entering the Louvre. So she told me that I'll make it on my 2nd trip, just like her. And true, Alhamdulillah we made it.

There are several entrance to the Louvre, and we can get the ticket at selected mall. On that day, we planned to get off at Gare Chatelet Les Halles, and we walked along rue du Pont Neuf towards the Seine until we saw the Louvre for Porte de Lions entrance. Teringin juga nak tengok the Lions. And we loved strolling along the Seine.

cafe and souvenir shop along the Seine

If only we were there on 1st Sunday, for the free entrance, but I can't imagine how crowded is the Louvre on free Sunday. Hari2 biasa pun crowded..

But we never found the lions, or any other entrance other than the Pyramid entrance. But as luck may have it, the queue wasn't long =)  It was merely 10 mins, atau sebab visitor berstroller diutamakan. I like the cool elevator.

The entrance ticket and the museum map are sold separately. If you don't have the map, you'll end up wandering nowhere. Betul ke? As a museum fan, I don't mind getting lost inside the Louvre! And of coz I know the famous Mona Lisa is on the Denon wing =)

God bless breastfeeding mom

This as obviously at the 'Mona Lisa hall'. Funny that the other Venetian Renaissance art tend to be overshadowed by the popularity of Leonardo da Vinci painting.

and the Medieval Louvre, at lower ground. This foundation that make way for the Renaissance palace to survive as Louvre museum.

Aariz was sleeping during the museum tour. We spent almost 4 hours inside the Louvre. Not enough really. I'll come back again (to the Louvre and many more musee in Paris)

Paris : eurocamp in Maisons Laffitte

I stumbled on eurocamp website when I was planning for our europe (road) trip with our dear friends. We booked 2 holiday parks ; Duinrell in Holland and Paris international. But I like it more the Duinrell coz it has a theme park, restaurants and easy access .. But at a price of GBP150 for 3 nights, we just couldn't resist. Plus I know the apartment price in central Paris may rise up during holiday season.

The Paris international park located at Maisons Laffitte, 15-20 km outskirts of Paris. The nearest train station is 15-20 minutes walk from the park.

Pardon my excitement, but I like this double-deck train.

I found the rates for suburb train was expensive. But they do make family ticket. It depends on your planning to full utilize the cost you pay.

kesian..boring 30-45 mins journey

and around the town, walking towards our park from the train station..

just so you know, shops close early in Europe

I don't have much photos on Paris eurocamp park, but this is how it looks like inside the cabin. Comfortable room after a long day wandering the city of Paris.

Laguna Redang Day 2 : Our anniversary and the Marine park

It was on Sunday morning in Redang that we celebrated our 6th anniversary. SubhanAllah, Redang is way too beautiful than what I've imagined, yes photos don't do its justice.

During breakfast I purposely asked for the corner table, and it presents us picture postcard view =)

Happy anniversary dear husband =)

me and the morning sunlight that I adore much

After breakfast and a quick stroll by the beach, we were all geared up for snorkelling trip. The trip was conducted by the hotel management (Laguna Redang. Included in the package) and off we went to Redang marine park cantre.

Aariz was sleepy on the boat, he had a quick nap and recharged when we arrived at the marine park. Good thing coz he loves fish!

SubhanAllah the marine park was beautiful. All the fish were visible through the crystal clear water.

Nice. I look like a pro, the truth is I was a bit scared. Not because we were 3 mtr down the water, but I was scared because I let someone else jaga my baby.

I'm sorry Aariz. It was only merely 5 minutes down there.

reunited.

So that was our holiday in Redang. We loved it. We'll come again whenever we can!

Your 3rd birthday

Mummy knows it's kind of late entry, but hey this is your blog too sayang =)
So here's how we celebrated your birthday.

We went to Rabbit Funland! Located just near the Broga hills. I know this place because his montessori has conducted a field trip previously but due to a circumstance we didn't join it.

If you could remember, we celebrated your 2nd birthday at a farm too. You like farmland so much, just look at your photos and how happy your were (despite the heat of midday) and of coz we were happy for you too (mummy and daddy puasa Ramadhan tau, terlepas sahur pulak tu hehe)

Your birthday cake sayang, it may not be the prettiest but I made it with all of my heart. It is because of you that I learn baking , and I'm pretty good at it now (at least for us )

your favorite, and the chickens

I live my life for you.

Happy Birthday Aariz Afzal Muhammad, mummy and daddy love you very much (we best friend forever rite? ) You're our greatest blessing because you are our happiness and you taught us a life lesson. I wish you all the happiness in the world and hereafter. May Allah protect you and bless you.

Sayang Aariz, mummy saaayang Aariz!

Laguna Redang Day1

Salam. At last I decided to download blogger apps di phone ku ini. Hopefully lepas ni akan rajin update.
Last weekend 0707 was our 6th anniversary. We went to Redang- I've been dreaming of the water since last year lagi . Masa kat UK lagi I've made a promise to myself that saya mesti, mesti jelajah pulau-pulau Malaysia. Dan Alhamdulillah..ya Allah cantiknya Redang. Glad that we made it! Tak perlulah saya nak rindu2 Mediterranean sea lagi ;p

Mula keluar dari rumah pukul 1 malam, to catch our scheduled ferry by 9am the next morning.  We forgot how far KT is ;(  boleh pula singgah breakfast di Ibai, it was another an hour journey to Merang jetty.

Mind you, the route to Merang jetty is quite confusing. They don't have proper signage..  But KT is my favorite place. The sceneries I enjoyed a lot.

It was a 3D2N package, all inclusive - accomodation, meals, jetty transfer and snorkeling (3 trips!). Our room was upgraded from the standard room to pool view room. Rezeki anniversary!

Hmm..ok after sometime I think I dislike this blogger apps coz I can't caption my photos. And I can't type between photos. Ok till next entry. These are photos taken from our Day1 in Laguna Redang.
